Swords of Power
There have been those that made weapons channelling Power, either their own or some that they took for themselves. Some even feature in the stories of those that came before us. Their Echoes, it is said, oft will carry an Echo of their weapons as well, from which Power radiates. While these weapons do come in various forms, most of them are swords. Thus they were given the moniker Sword of Power, an attempt to bind the knowledge of them and taste their idea on the tongue of a wielder of words. A foolish errand at best, a fatal weakness at worse. Yet it serves as descriptor.
Leaving aside the idea of crafting one yourself, which has many stories and failed attempts to it, it is more likely that one may encounter one of these themself, or an Echo of one. If one does, take it. But do not blindly wield it. Taking a Sword of Power in your hand must make you feel powerful. It has to feel like an extension of yourself, that brings forth the strength within you.
If it does not, let it go. Power comes from confidence, not arrogance. If you do not feel in control, that Sword and Power will consume you. But if you feel it, then you can use it. Do not let fear control you and stop you from growing stronger, but also do not be yet another cautionary tale the foolish tell each other to sap themselves of Strength. Words are meaningless, only your own being matters. Have faith in yourself, but not blindly.
There are many specific blades told of in stories. Some may very well be real, or have existed yet no longer do. There is little harm in knowing these tales, as perhaps one will encounter such. At the very least, knowledge can serve as a source of power. Understanding some basics of the weapon wielded by another against you, may help you. But remember, there is no truth in words. They are but an attempt to shackle reality to ourselves, which in turn can shackle us to the mere mirage of power.
