In Waza, the northwestmost province of Khahlanong, a conspiracy of nationalist Wazi officers executes a coup to seize control of the province. A short war breaks out, but with the loyalty of most of the Imperial Army and Provincial Guard, the Wazi officers emerge victorious, creating the independent Aki-Waza.
