Uraha Yamutha, The Golden Warrior
Uraha Yamutha is a folk god of Teshoya, specifically of the Khalgeshi people of central Teshoya. The god of warriors and cunning, Uraha Yamutha does not just represent brute strength but also clever deception and tactical maneuver. A dragon, with golden scales and whip-like form, Uraha Yamutha is terrifyingly clever and deadly. They live somewhere in the foothills north of Āqi’ā Ahī and rarely deign to show their face to mortals.
Khalgeshi clans will leave as large a sacrifice as they are able at the edge of the dragon's territory, before entering a war or engaging in an important battle, hoping that they will bless the clan. Many legendary stories of the Khalgesh oral tradition have their protagonist tested by Uraha Yamutha, and some Khalgesh seek the favor of the Golden Warrior themselves. The hopefuls make the trek alone into their territory. To prove their worthiness, Uraha Yamutha hunts them through the rocky valleys and crags, killing and eating almost all who come. Very few pass their test, but if they survive, it grants their favor and shares with them a portion of their strength. Those who have been taught by Uraha Yamutha are sometimes called Asa'yaqat.
