Teague S-M Army Pattern MkIV
The Teague Cylfdy-Dyr Mhatryd Bad Noc IV is a bolt-action rifle produced by Teague Manufacturing. The culmination of decades of work developing a modern infantry rifle, starting with the Teague-Owains Army Pattern MkI, it served as the service rifle of the Dornish Armed Forces during the Last War and beyond.
The CD NcIV is one of the fastest bolt-action rifles to operate. It has a magazine topped up with single cartridges or five-round charger clips. The magazine is detachable (1 lb.) but normally not used as such -- each rifle comes with only one. If a spare magazine is available, reloading takes only three Ready maneuvers. The gun takes a 1.3-lb. sword bayonet (Reach 1, 2*).
An earlier version in 1334, which introduced clip-loading, was the S-M Army Pattern MkIII. It was also the first of the short rifles to unify infantry rifles with carbines.
