Teague .44 Gentleman
The Teague .44 Gentleman is a small and sleek smoothbore derringer pistol produced by Teague Manufacturing from 1279-1293. They were sold by the company in matching pairs, but nowadays plenty of singles can be found second-hand. They were marketed as the signature weapon of the upper-class gentleperson, and they became very popular in Dorn and across northern Jideran as concealable pistols for the well-to-do traveler.
A variant was produced in more limited quantities, costing twice as much and granting a +1 to reaction rolls against people that would be impressed by such a piece.
They have largely been made defunct by more modern firearms, except as collectors items. However, they still see occasional use.
