Protoporia
Protoporia, meaning "at the edge," is an artistic and philosophical movement popular in northern Jideran that presents art as a critical component of political and economic change and emphasizes art-as-politics. Protoporistis reject the past in all its forms, embracing change and dynamism. Protoporia is popular within radical movements, particularly with the puristis sect of the libertarian milieu. However, there is a growing echelarist presence within the artistic movement. It is common for protoporistis to write manifestos, blending artistic critique with social and political commentary.
Themes and Motifs
Protopori art is often abstract, surreal, and intentionally bizarre. It often contains abstract depictions of technology, especially aerostats and other modern vehicles. These are linked within protoporia to themes of freedom, progress, and empowerment. Protopori artworks rarely appear static; they often appear to be in motion and dynamic, with sweeping curves and angles.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
