Oncea Trench Mortar Mk I
The Oncea Marul di Rişapa Runct I is a 3.2" smoothbore mortar designed by Emil Oncea. Its simple and effective design has led to it being copied and produced in almost every country with any sort of industrial base.
The Oncea Runct I consists of a smoothbore tube (43 lbs.) with a fixed firing pin, resting on a small base plate (28 lbs.) to keep recoil from driving it into the ground, and supported by a bipod (37 lbs.). It requires a three-man crew. The gunner simply drops rounds down the tube; the bombs fire as they strike the pin. HE (in table), shrapnel, smoke, and illumination rounds were widely issued.
