Three small orbs of moonlight appear and begin to orbit a creature you can see within range. Whenever the creature is hit with a melee attack, one or more orbs shatter and the attacker must make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d4 Radiant damage for each orb that shatters, or half as much on a success.
The maximum number of orbs that can shatter at once is equal to your spellcasting modifier.
Using Higher-Level Spell Slot. The spell creates one more orb for each spell slot level above 1.
