  You unleash a searing bolt of pure elemental energy at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 + your spellcasting modifier damage of your choice: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison. Additionally, the target must make a saving throw based on the chosen damage type or suffer an additional effect:
