Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You proclaim a formal decree of your faith or order, and the weight of doctrine slams down on a creature’s access to higher powers. One creature of your choice that you can see within range must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, radiant script coils around the target and the for the duration the first time on each of its turns that the target attempts to cast a spell of level 3 or lower, the spell is fails and any spell slots or uses are expended; if the spell is level 4 or higher the creature instead takes 2d6 Radiant damage. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the spell ends.
On an initial successful save, the target takes 2d6 Radiant damage, but the spell otherwise has no effect.
Using Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d6 for each spell slot level above 4.
