  Invisible chains of sigils lash out and anchor your foe to the world. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be tethered by binding magic:
  • While tethered, the target is Slowed and its Speed cannot be increased by any means.
  • If the target is flying by any means, its flying Speed becomes 0, and it gently descends up to 60 feet each round it remains in the air. It cannot gain altitude while tethered.
  • The target cannot benefit from teleportation or any effect that would move it without using its Speed (such as Misty Step).
At the end of each of its turns, the target can repeat the Strength saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
  On a successful initial save, the target is not tethered, but becomes Slowed until the end of its next turn.
  Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above 2.
