Rumors begin to circulate that the ancient war machine known as the Ordinatus Eternum, lost during the Horus Heresy, is hidden somewhere on Duros IV. Vaxxos becomes obsessed with locating and reclaiming this powerful weapon to turn the tide of the campaign in his favor. The Vengeful Despoilers intensify their efforts, scouring the planet for any clues to the war machine's location.
