The party decides to split up to investigate the ruins, with Cinnamon, Dawnflame, and Elwynn going one direction, while Sha'Ren, Arson, and Cacophany go the other direction. Sha'ren and Arson's group doesn't get far before Cinnamon and Elwynn run back towards them, warning them of a "bear" in the other direction. The party goes that way, only to find that this "bear" is in fact a hook horror, which they fight and kill. Making their way down the other pathway, the one that Sha'Ren and Arson went originally, the party decides it's best to stick together. They make their way down the hallway, and find strange vines, which they soon discover are made of flesh. Going deeper into the hallway, they find that these flesh vines soon coat the entire hallway, narrowing the passageway so only one person fits at a time. They decide to go down this hallway, finding a large pit at the end with what looks to be bone protruding from some of the vines. Cinnamon attempts to break some of the bone off, and is instead attacked by a number of the vines surrounding her and the party.
