The party finishes up their business in Tytheturne and begins their journey to the last destination that was marked in the first ritual room they encountered. Hopefully, this last location will help clear up the confusion they've faced so far and reveal what connections the little clues they have found so far have meant. However, on their way past the city of Theorin, the party runs into a guard patrol, the leader of which recognises Sha'Ren, who has previously been exiled from Khastoro. In order to clear his record and allow the party to proceed in their mission, they must assist the royal family with an issue they have been experiencing: the heir to the Khastoran throne has been cursed, and is slowly dying. The party agrees to help, and heads over to speak with Thalia Torvikelle, the Crown Princess, who they discover to be in a bad state, bedridden and barely able to even converse with them. Through their line of questioning they discover that the princess' last act while she was well was to attend a ball, an event that had around 300-400 guests and occured nearly 100 years ago. Now, the party must look into their leads and see if they can uncover anything, a century removed from the events.
