The Dilation
(a.k.a. The Memory)
The Dilation was a Manifest responsible for managing time that already existed. Occasionally called The Memory, it was able to see the past and present, giving accurate answers to questions about either.
The Dilation worked in parallel with The Timekeeper. While active decisions about the timeline were out of The Dilation's hands, it was able to observe the branching realities The Timekeeper managed, and The Dilation was more forthcoming with information about the nature of time than The Timekeeper had been in the same era.
The Dilation noted the connections between Droswal and the planes around it. To safeguard the Manifests' vision for Droswal, it created barriers of desynchronization between the neighboring planes. This was a massive drain on The Dilation, necessitating breaks that allowed some crossover between the planes until The Dilation decided to shut the doors for good. Once it ran out of strength, The Dilation perished, bringing the timelines of Droswal and its surrounding planes back into alignment and consequently reopening the paths between them.
