The Ablation
The Ablation was a Manifest that counterbalanced any irresponsible acts of creation by the other Manifests. When situations grew unstable, if removing an element was the most obvious course-correction available, The Ablation was responsible for handling it.
The Ablation's work ranged in scale from almost unnoticible to almost impossible to ignore. It could prevent wildfires by snuffing out an ember, and it could make room for the newer creations of The Relation or The Division by causing older creations to go extinct.
The Ablation briefly took over The Reaction's role as the Manifest responsible for meting out retributive action against those who threatened or harmed the Manifests. It was destroyed by its own power while trying to eliminate Nestori, who hid a backfire charm on his person in anticipation of an attack by the Manifests.
