Wilting Wreath

Wondrous, rare (requires attunement)
A grave ornament of a circle with a cross, hanging from a white leather cord. Made of white marble, it is inscribed with the name Martha Graven.   While wearing the Wilting Wreath, you are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition, and cannot contract disease.   For GM Eyes Only
The Wilting Wreath is one of the thirteen unique Graven Rings. Like the others in the set, it bears a terrible curse.   This ornament is cursed. This fact is not revealed by detect magic or identify. It appears to be a periapt of health. Attuning to it curses you until special removal requirements are met. While cursed, it cannot be removed or unattuned. It is typically worn on a cord or chain around the neck.   While cursed, you cannot regain hit points by any means. If your hit points are reduced to 0, you die and your body turns to dust. Greater restoration, heal, and similar spells have no effect while you are cursed in this way.   Removal Requirements. You must speak with a dead ancestor and complete a task they assign to you. Upon doing so, the curse ends and the wreath is unattuned. Reattuning to the wreath restores the curse.   History. The Wilting Wreath was stolen from the grave of Martha Graven, a traveling alchemical healer who served as a messenger and touchstone among the Gravens. After her death, her tombstone was broken and robbed. The wreath appeared among the cursed relics, though the one who brought it is unknown. Records only mention a promise fulfilled by its presence.
