Language of the Oristellae

Ori-Ori or Ori-speak is a constructed utility language based upon common spoken by Oristellae in interstellar transmissions. It is mainly comprised of four letter words with particular/context words being comprised of two or three letter words. Ori-Ori has a writing system of 32 symbols that is commonly associated with sounds or tones of the language and make up the primary focus of how it's written in text form.

Ori-Ori has a uniform structure to it's words. Each Ori-Ori noun is exactly four letters.

Geographical Distribution

Due to the wide geographic distribution of Oristellae and the nature of their station, Ori-Ori can be seen in use wherever Oristellae themselves may be stationed. Although, specific dialects have emerged within larger groups of Oristellae the main root of the language stays the same because it has to for it to function.

Ori-Ori has been in circulation for as long as Oristellae have, also, so there are many variants and terms that have shifted over the time and such older Oristellae, or those still around, may speak a version of Ori-Ori that may seem dated. However, all versions of Ori-Ori are somewhat understandable from speaker to speaker, at least a functional amount.
