Dusk Elves

  The Dusk Elves of Barovia are an ancient people. They lived in the valley before men arrived there, and lead simple lives. Some of their ruins are scattered across the Svalich Woods and in deep abandoned caves. Most Dusk Elves live with the Vistani, as they have no love for life inside towns or cities. The largest population of Dusk Elves are lead by Kasimir Velikov and live in or nearby the Vallaki Encampment.   Dusk elves look similar to Dark Elves, but their skin tends to be lighter, more blue than black. Their hair is mostly white. Like other elves they can live to be over 800 years old.   The Dusk Elves of Barovia are a dying people. One of their own, Rahadin, a servant of Strahd von Zarovich, slew all of the female Dusk Elves, and they are not allowed to leave Barovia with their Vistani friends.
