The first Solar Eclipse witnessed by the world of Drass. A celestial event with divine implications.

After the Cataclysm of Umbranos, the Paladins of the Dawn came to the conclusion that they would lose. Separated as they were from their deities physical presence, the Paladins gathered the finest minds of a generation to find a way to unlock the Divine Gate in such a way that only Pelor could stride forth. The conclusion of this research was simple: Pelors very power is contained within the sun.   The Paladins spent two decades refining the instruments necessary to harness this energy, and when they were ready, they begged Pelor to close his eyes so that he could not be held responsible for what they were about to do in his name. As the Solar Eclipse began, the Temple of the Dawn within Peloria City began to resonate with accumulated divine energy. As the Eclipse reached totality, the Temple fired a pillar of light into the sky. Those gathered within the Temple felt their divine power begin to increase as the light of Pelor began to return to the land. The Temple of the Dawn was now directly connected to the Dawnfathers power, a tiny sliver of Elysium on the Mortal Plane.
