An ancient language spoken by some of the people of Hemga. Spoken by the nomadic Kù̃, hints of it can be found in many of the language spoken across the Hemgan continent to this day, and even in other language spoken further away. Domsògian (natively Domsòg, /ˈdomsøːg/) is considered the Hemgan root language, used almost universally, much like Prau̯lt is to Mum.
Unlike its eastern counterpart, which is largely used in science, Domsògian words and phrases still see much use in regular, day-to-day life. Specifically, the language seems to have a carried an unusually large amount of idioms. Possibly because of its nomadic speakers, who came across many situations to translate into idioms, or possibly they learned them from even older languages, now lost to the tooth of time. Whatever their origin, Domsògian idioms survived even where the language itself (almost) didn't, carried onward into modern Hemgan languages.
Domsògian itself is a dead language, and is a native spoken language anywhere anymore. Some people learn it for academic use, and it still sees use in a scientific way, much like Latin on Earth.
