Cockatrice Breast
Taken from the domestic cockatrice, cockatrice breast is a staple food eaten by most, if not all, dragons. Unlike most (wild) wyverns, cockatrices have been selectively bred for eating, growing much fatter than wild relatives, with rich, flavorful meat.
While dragons are omnivores and require a balanced diet to stay healthy, most races need to consume a higher amount of meat than humans. As a result, it's essential for them to have access to livestock which is easy to keep, quick to reproduce, and which produces enough meat for dragons to live off of. For many, these animals are cockatrices, moderately sized and domesticated wyverns. Much like the chickens they resemble, cockatrices are a commonly kept food staple, with their breasts being especially beloved for their richness and the sheer amount of (boneless) meat they contain. Many cultures have their own, favored way of preparing this meat, although in modern times much cultural crossover exists, with recipes crossing many hands and long distances.
Manufacturing process
It's exact preparation varies greatly among cultures and personal tastes, although it is never eaten raw. Baked, grilled, breaded, fried; countless variations exist. In full fillets, cut into strips, turned into cubes. Spices and herbs are also frequently added to further enhance or tweak the flavor.
Significance
As an extremely common food staple, cockatrice breast has a significance in that it allows for many dragons to be fed. It is a staple, after all. Removing it from existence would force dragons to rely on other sources of meat, which might be less accessible, less nutritious, and overall, just less. No single cockatrice breast has a specific significance, but its existence overall definitely does.
