The Congealed Sea

The Congealed Sea is a frigid body of water north of Brehka, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and frozen tundra. During the winter, the sea becomes almost wholly covered in slob ice, creating a rough, uneven surface that can be treacherous.   The slob ice is formed from seawater and snow that freezes together in a slushy, semi-solid state. It clings to the sides of boats and can easily damage their hulls, making travel across the Congealed Sea dangerous.   Despite the dangers, the Congealed Sea is home to diverse wildlife. These animals have adapted to the harsh sea conditions and rely on the slob ice to rest and hunt for food.   During the summer months, the Congealed Sea begins to thaw, and the slob ice slowly melts away, revealing the dark blue waters beneath. But most of the year, the sea remains a frozen wasteland, an icy and unforgiving landscape that few dare to venture into.
