Discordia
Discordia is a rare and devastating disease that originates from exposure to Primordial Chaos, which leads to advanced genetic mutations in the affected individuals.
Transmission & Vectors
The condition is not contagious and does not spread through contact. However, it can be passed down through the genetic line from parent to child.
Causes
Discordia is caused by prolonged exposure to Primordial Chaos, which corrupts the genetic code and triggers metamorphosis in the host, emblematic of the disease. The condition is highly unpredictable due to the volatility of @Chaos, resulting in various manifestations.
Symptoms
Discordia is characterized by unpredictable and erratic behavior, including fits of rage or psychosis that wax and wane. As the disease progresses, individuals may experience slow and gradual physiological changes, such as the growth of extra limbs or organs or modifications of existing ones. Auditory and visual hallucinations and constant pain ranging from discomfort to agony are also common symptoms of Discordia.
Treatment
Unfortunately, there is no known cure for Discordia once it has developed. The metamorphosis progresses slowly, changing the afflicted's physiological and neurological structure. Eventually, they may transform into creatures that no longer resemble their original species, often falling into a permanent state of psychosis.
