Ahúrlans
Mlúkrok: Ahúrlí
Ahúrlans1 are worms commonly found in the canopies of the jungles of Vorran Peninsula in western Dragonía. They are able to photosynthesize using green, leaf-like organs along their body, which double as a simple camouflage amongst the branches which they rest on for most of the day, and only need to feed at night, during which they bore holes into the trees and feed on sap.
On rainy days, the worms secrete a sticky substance to prevent them from falling off the branches.
Ahúrlans are important prey for a variety of reptiles, insects and spiders in the region.
