A marvel of the natural accoustics of the garden being nestled amongst the forest is that the sound of the music or the din of the crowd doesn't carry very far. It generally cannot be heard until on is set upon the correct entry path to the garden itself. Thus the garden creates little to no disturbance to the nearby residences on the hllltop, except for the intoxicating permeating odor of the roasted meats and fried potato pancakes.
Entries
While popular and not intended to be hidden, the garden is only accessible through a series of winding paths through the light forest upon the hill accessible from the residences on the hilltop to the west or the town at the foot of the hill to the east.
Sensory & Appearance
An intoxicating scent of roasted duck and potato pancakes permeates the peaceful calm felt while one is within the clearing amongst the dense trees. The music, when playing, can be heard throughout the garden, but is not so loud as to impede conversation. Sunlight permeates the tree canopy providing enough daytime light, but oil lamps are placed throughout the garden for use in the evening. The canopy created by the overarching trees provides some cover even in a light rain, keeping the grounds and the attendees safe and dry. The mood is tranquil, fun, and devoid of long lines awaiting their tasty and thirst quenching treats. Even the line for potato pancakes rarely is longer than two individuals as the operators have long optimized the serving of them, so they are always fresh, hot, and plentiful.
Denizens
All manner of folk visit the garden. Singles looking to party, families enjoying the music and a day away from their own work and cookfires, vactioners and travelling merchants can all be found in the garden when it is open.
