Shield is an ability which allows a person to make bubbles of protection to block attacks.
The strength, size, and optics of a shield is variable. Stronger shields require more energy and training. The size is controlled by concentration. The colour and opacity of a shield is thought to be varied based upon who is using the ability, though newer cases of individual variable shields have pulled this reasoning into question.
