The second youngest in the Carmichael family, Mercie has always felt she had something to prove. Having four brothers made it difficult to stand out at home, even after gaining abilities no one has ever seen before.
At Dracoshire Academy, though, Mercie truly shines. Her family name inspires awe, her completely unknown abilities inspire curiousity, and her sweet personality make her very personable. It's the perfect recipe for popularity.
Especially when combine with a touch of fear, which she is well capable of inspiring.And keeping the entire ninth grade on their toes, by having them all try to stay on her good side, goes great.

Home Life
Mercie lives with both of her parents--when they're home. Her mother is the mayor of Greensborough, and her father is the principal of Dracoshire Academy, making them both very busy people. Mercie is more likely to run into her dad at school than to see him at home. In mean time, her brothers do most of the caring of the home, alongside their maid. There's plenty of upkeep to do, living in their three story home in the middle of town. Sometimes, her eldest brother jokes that he's more Mercie's mom then their real mom, but if she's honest, Mercie doesn't find it to be as much of a joke as he does.
