War of the Bards
The War of the Bards started as a regional dispute over some land in the possession of Isitor. The land was part of an old dispute with the country of Grimsharda. Many other countries became involved in the conflict, most taking the side of Isitor.
The Conflict
Prelude
For several years, there was a 50 mile stretch of land between Isitor and Grimsharda that was under dispute. The dispute was in the process of being settled by the Draconic Confederacy when the dragons were banished. The paperwork detailing the proceedings was backlogged when the Bardic Confederacy was formed. Because of this, Grimsharda decided to take matters into their own hands, attempting to seize control of the land by force.
Battlefield
The battles mainly took place within the disputed territory, with a notable siege of the Bardic Confederacy Headquarters on Dragon Island. Grimsharda also tried to blockade the United Empire of Elysium and the Supreme Republic of Talle, leading to heavy sea battles. Grimsharda also launched a strategic air assault on the Supreme Republic, keeping it tied up with Homeland defense.
