Biblioverse

The Biblioverse is the crowning feature of the University of Thoth. It stands at the center of the University's main campus. It is the largest library in the world, and quite possibly in several worlds. The library, its auxiliary locations in the Colleges of Law and Magic, and its auxiliaries on other campuses make up a vast majority of the collected knowledge and wisdom of Draconia.   On the ground floor of the library is a large study area. In the center of this room is a fountain with a large statue of Thoth with his hands outstretched and water flowing out of them and pooling beneath his feat. This fountain aptly named the Fount of Wisdom, represents the waters of knowledge that flow out of Thoth and is available to all who are willing to come and drink. It is tradition for those graduating from the University to actually drink the water flowing from Thoth's hands (the water is magically kept clean).

Alterations

The library has been added onto over the years as more space was required to store the additional books and scrolls collected there. Two basement levels were added to house the Special Collections, Archives, and Restricted areas. The Colleges of Law, Magic, and Medicine built a library into their own buildings to give their students easier access to relevant material.

Architecture

The building was originally designed to be alterable. The architect wanted the expansions to build up so that the Biblioverse eventually became a tower. He called it a "lighthouse of knowledge to shine in the darkness of ignorance."

Defenses

The library is protected by several spells that prevent damage from things like earthquakes, fires, floods, and other natural disasters. In addition, Campus Security patrols the Biblioverse at all hours.

Tourism

This building is open to the public, not just students of the University. Its auxiliary locations within the Colleges of Magic, Law, and Medicine are not generally open to the public. People visit the Biblioverse when they need to research a topic.
