Ti'kric (TEN-krik or ten-KRIK)
Ti'kric (translated as 'scale scraper') are medium-sized mammals that live in the savannahs of Dracia. They are easily identified by the large scales covering their entire bodies.
Description
An adult ti'kric measures about 7 feet long and 3 feet high. These ponderous animals have short legs and neck but with a flat, long tail. Most famously their bodies are encased with brown, tan scales similar to a pangolin. These scales are attached to muscles and either allow the ti'kric to make them stand on end or pull them closer to their bodies. Rapidly contracting and relaxing their muscles slaps the scales together, producing a distinct clicking sound.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
