Monica Weyr didn't pick her own nickname, but rolls with it; better than you are likely to get in the hyper-chauvenist world of most bike gangs. A family legacy of MC clubs, Weyr fell in with the Lobos Perdidos Motor Gang after conflict with her Father's gang, the Alpha Wolves. The Conflict is due to Weyr's marriage to Kitty.
Weyr suffers from animal shifting splicing, "weyrism." The first attempts of Genetic Splicing for Newtypes during the Second Crisis were with small chains of animal DNA to bring out traits like strength, mental strength, and personality traits. As Weyr families move down in generation, the animalistic traits grow in strength as dominant genes. For Weyr's family, they have become increasingly more Canine in appearance and traits. Resulting in the Weyr looking like the classic movie monster, The Wolf Man. Coarse long Fur instead of human hair, wolf-like teeth, wolf eyes, and a nose similar to dogs.
Weyr has enhanced reactions, better sight and smell, and a mean bite. She has also shown care for and collected wild dogs.
