The company is based on the small "general store" his father ran. Young Nwabudike Morgan quickly learned that the best way to help the community and himself was to find what the people needed, sell it to them, and make all the deals for that exchange.
Nwabudike Morgan often jokes he is the Nigerian prince who needs your money. Unapologetically Capitalistic, the company is frequently claimed to be the APC, and all other members are merely shell companies at the Whim of Morgan's literal Corporate Empire. Morgan defends himself by stating he doesn't talk to politicians; he speaks to consumers, and the consumers talk to the government. His most significant rivals are all members of the APC, and everyone else is a new market. Critism of Morgan Enterprises is often brushed of by the CEO, just like critism of him directly, it is simply more uncomplicated to put hate on a successful black man and/or company from Nigeria than it is to acknowledge how the systems of the old world have failed so many in the post-crisis world and someone is smart enough to figure it out before the old white powers can properly acknowledge, at least according to Nwabudike Morgan.
