Nolden Tully

Nolden Tully is a retired adventuring cleric who has dedicated his life to the service of Releous, the god of Law, War, and Justice. Although he has seen his share of battles and has a reputation for being gruff, Nolden is deeply committed to helping those in need. Born in a small village on the outskirts of a great city, Nolden grew up in a family of devout followers of Releous. From an early age, he was fascinated by the stories of the god's exploits, and dreamed of one day becoming a cleric himself. When he was old enough, he set out on a journey to join a holy order devoted to Releous.   As a young adventurer, Nolden traveled far and wide, battling evil and upholding the laws of society wherever he went. He was known for his fierce determination and his unyielding commitment to justice, even in the face of overwhelming odds.   Despite his many successes, however, Nolden's life as an adventurer took a heavy toll on him. He began to struggle with alcoholism, turning to drink to numb the pain of his many battles and the losses he had suffered along the way.   Eventually, Nolden realized that he needed to step away from the life of an adventurer and find a new purpose. He settled in the Village of Hope, a small community that had been devastated by years of war and unrest. There, he set up the Hope's Chapel of Releous., a simple place of worship where he could continue to serve his god and help those in need.   Although he is now in his late 50s and looks older than his years, Nolden's clerical powers are still strong. He is always ready to defend the weak and the needy from those who would do them harm, and he accepts charitable donations from all who are willing to contribute.   Despite his gruff exterior, Nolden has a soft spot for those who are struggling. He is known to take in orphaned children and provide them with a home and an education, and he has been known to offer aid and protection to those who have been victimized by bandits and other criminals.   For many in the Village of Hope, Nolden Tully is a hero and a beacon of hope in a world that can be dark and cruel. And although he may not see himself that way, his tireless devotion to justice and his unwavering commitment to helping others make him a true champion of Releous.   Nolden Tully is a tall, broad-shouldered man with a rugged, weathered appearance. His short-cut hair is a shade of iron grey, and he sports a stubble beard that adds to his gruff, no-nonsense demeanor. Despite his rough exterior, his piercing blue eyes exude a sense of inner strength and conviction. Nolden dresses in simple, practical clothing, favoring sturdy boots and well-worn leather armor over more ostentatious garb. He carries a battle-worn mace at his side, which he wields with deadly precision when called upon to do so.   Although he can come across as intimidating or unapproachable at times, those who take the time to get to know him soon discover that Nolden is a kind and compassionate soul at heart. He is fiercely protective of those under his care, and will go to great lengths to ensure that they are safe and well cared for. Despite the many challenges he has faced over the course of his long and storied career, Nolden remains committed to his faith and to the ideals of justice and righteousness that he has always held dear.
