Menril
Menril, in it's natural form, is a thick blue liquid that reacts quite violently to any from of disturbance. The magical fluid can only naturally be found within Menril Trees in the Meneglin Forest. Menril wood has a particular quality in that it is one of the few materials able to contain liquid Menril without disturbing it. If disturbed, Menril will begin to rapidly expand, crystalize, and break apart-- nullifying the magical energy stored within as well as potentially harming all of those around it. Extracting this material is a difficult process, and often yields little product-- but if one chooses to do so and succeeds, they will have no problem finding a buyer. Alchemists, wizards, and engineers alike are eager to unlock the power stored within.

Material Characteristics
If held in one's hand, Menril will cause a tingling sensation, as if it was teeming with electricity. The liquid form of Menril must be handled with utmost care as to not ruin it. The very fragile nature of liquid Menril means most would not dare to even expose it to air-- even the slightest gust of wind could ruin the sample.

Upon disturbance, the liquid will rapidly crystalize and lose the power stored within it.

Menril is found only within Menril Trees, in the Meneglin Forest.
Life & Expiration
Menril will gradually become more concentrated and condense, but will never deteriorate or rot. The only way to "destroy" it would be to crystalize it.

Like the bottom of a wine barrel-- sour and metallic.
Color
A rich mix of cyan and dark blue, with the deeper colors coming as the liquid becomes more and more dense. Upon crystallization the colors will lighten to a very light blue, and the tips of the crystals will gradually fade a to a cloudy white.
Common State
In it's natural form Menril is a thick liquid teeming with magical energy. After disturbance, the liquid will rapidly crystalize into a fragile cluster of pale-white and very light blue crystals.
