Spooktober 2025: Noisome

Noisome. What a uniquely English word. I’d never actually used it before in any context, so unlike most of my Spooktober entries, I chose not to twist it at all.

Instead, I discovered the perfect little thing in my world that could proudly bear this word in its name: a small, veritable Noisome Stone.

So next time your 5e players are behaving like the obnoxious minmaxing goblins of yore, when you’re fed up with their antics and at the end of your wit, and when you’re ready to stop being the benevolent force guiding their universe and instead turn biblical on them, feel free to cast the first stone.
