Brede Tol Croaken

Small creatures, fitting inside of a child's hand.   They have a very specific bony hard plate on their nose, and a small set of teeth. They sharpen their plates agaisnt river rocks to keep it ready to hammer off other Monster Nubs, their main source fo food. Mostly off of Gremdow Gip monsters.   The are very small and they have a body acid they use to vomit on the skin around nub to numb it for a few hours as thecy start to hack away at it with their nubs. While eating these nubs are beneficial to the Gremdow Gip and its growth, the acid helps to not bother the Gremdow, to ensure the Brede Tol has enough time to break off the nub.   While not being able to eat the nubs, they survive off pond vegetation, buit need to eat nubs every 2-3 weeks. They will venture out further than their pond to find other monsters to eat, but they are not as successful in knocking off the nubs. It seems most monsters are immune, whielt he acid works well on Humans and smaller monsters.   They fill river and pond's surface, especially near the mouth of any water entrance. Very abundant in Sing Galtz, namely ponds in the Klodargo Mountains.   They are a quick snack to eat, though tough to hunt as they are fast and hop around quickly. They generally avoid human activity, but will numb and bite when threatened. Some question while the numb before biting, it's been recorded opening their mouths wide enough to bite triggers the vomit automatically.
