Reeva Vasavadan

Reeva Vasavadan is the bitter soul of ambition corrupted, once the golden daughter of the Vasavadan line and now a monstrous mockery of her former self. In life, she longed for recognition, aching beneath the shadow of her elder sister Ramya. In death, she became what she hates most—a beast born of arcane pacts and infernal cunning.

Beneath her elegance and menace lies a wound that never healed: Reeva loved Ramya once. She admired her sister’s strength, trusted her guidance, and only grew resentful when their parents—and the kingdom—forgot Reeva’s talents in the wake of Ramya’s rule.

Her hatred is rooted in heartbreak. She believes she should have ruled—not out of greed, but out of justice. Now, every spell she casts, every plot she weaves, is a twisted cry for acknowledgment… or vengeance.

  • She cannot forgive Ramya’s betrayal—or her own decision to conspire with Arijani.
  • She envies Ramya’s form even in undeath. Reeva sees herself as the one truly cursed.

Reeva is a Darklord of Kalakeri alongside her siblings, bound to a cycle of war, grief, and illusion. The Dark Powers mock her by trapping her in a form that represents everything she loathes: monstrous, cunning, and feared but never truly loved.

  • Her curses are beautiful and devastating, crafted to ruin reputations or hollow out hearts.
  • She can never win, because she refuses to destroy Ramya outright—a part of her still mourns the sister she once adored.
  • Her most personal torment is this: she knows she helped destroy a good queen, and she will never again be anything more than the second choice.

Reeva Vasavadan is the masked arcanoloth of Kalakeri—vain, vengeful, and forever haunted by the love she lost and the monster she became.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Reeva appears as a graceful woman with a foxlike beauty, but her true form is that of an arcanoloth—a jackal-headed fiend draped in rich silks, her fur embroidered with arcane sigils that shimmer and shift like heat mirages. Her golden eyes burn with resentment and intellect, and her every motion is calculated for maximum effect.

  • In private, she despises her monstrous form, wrapping herself in illusory glamours of her living self: poised, radiant, unblemished.
  • She rarely speaks of her death at Ramya’s hands, but the memory smolders inside her like a brand.
  • Books, mirrors, and spells of transformation clutter her sanctum. She studies obsessively, convinced there is a way to restore her lost humanity—or at least its illusion.
