Positive Plane
The Positive Plane, also known as the Positive Energy Plane, is a realm of blinding radiance and boundless vitality, the wellspring of all life and the ultimate source of creation and growth in the multiverse. Like a glowing dome arching above all existence, it stands in stark contrast to its dark counterpart, the Negative Plane, offering not destruction but an overwhelming abundance of life energy.
The Positive Plane is pure potential—a place of birth, creation, and abundance, but also the dangers of unrestrained growth. It embodies the beginning of all things, the energy that fuels souls, stars, and even the gods. To touch it is to feel the moment of creation itself—terrible in its beauty, and overwhelming in its truth.
Geography
There is no sky, ground, or horizon in the Positive Plane—only an infinite sea of brilliant, pearlescent light. This radiance pulses and flows in slow, harmonic waves, casting rainbow hues through the endless brilliance. The sensation of motion is disorienting, as there is no true direction, only the constant push of vitality flowing outward in every direction.
Time seems to blur here, as the plane resonates with a frequency beyond mortal perception. Light dances like flame across invisible surfaces, and reality pulses with growth and warmth.
Breathing here fills one's lungs with pure energy, and the radiant glow penetrates flesh and bone, suffusing every part of a being with an invigorating hum. But this gift can quickly become a curse.
Localized Phenomena
The very essence of the Positive Plane is dangerously potent. While brief exposure heals wounds and invigorates the soul, prolonged contact causes living beings to grow uncontrollably, with cells multiplying until they burst with raw life force. Without powerful magic or protective measures, most mortals will literally explode in a flash of radiant energy.
Additionally, the plane is completely void of shadows, and creatures dependent on rest or darkness may struggle to survive or remain sane. Thought and identity may also begin to unravel amid the flood of stimuli.
Fauna & Flora
Few creatures can dwell here long. Those that do are often constructs or beings of pure energy, such as living radiance, energy elementals, or positively charged celestials. Some sages speak of the lyphs, creatures born directly from the plane’s radiant currents, who exist only as sound and light, and whose minds are vast but alien.
The Ein Sof, a legendary entity of boundless light, is sometimes whispered to slumber at the heart of the Positive Plane—a being of unimaginable creative power.
