Halflings

Standing just under 4 feet tall, halflings have compact builds with a surprising toughness. Their features are round and friendly—broad cheeks, bright eyes, and expressive faces that easily convey their emotions. Hair tends to be thick and curly, often in shades of brown, auburn, or sandy blonde. Skin tones range from pale to richly tan, often darkened by time spent outdoors.

Their feet are typically bare, with thick soles and tufts of hair atop them—a natural adaptation to life without shoes. Halflings move with surprising quiet and agility, often slipping through crowds or dense forests without disturbing a thing.
