Calendar
The Divostran year is determined by the time it takes for the Divostran sun to ascend from its nadir in midwinter to its apex in midsummer and then return to its nadir in the northern hemisphere, which takes 360 days. While every civilization has its own calendar based on agricultural or religious traditions, intercontinental trade required the establishment of a shared calendar in order to synchronize shipping times and trade route schedules, agreed upon by the heads of state from major civilizations throughout the world during the Conference of Temporal Synchronicity in 1016 PS.
The year is divided into twelve months of 30 days each, with each year beginning in the month of Berastyme and ending in the month of Viristide. The months are as follows:
Berastyme
Detmorozh
Marcesanna
Florastyme
Otterrun
Marquese
