The Parts of a God

What makes a god?   The Domain: The overarching definition of a gods purpose. god of knowledge, god of the sea, etc   The Tenets: The more granular explanation of a gods personality. Tenets define how a god interacts with their domain. Are they a cruel god, a loving one? On that only cares if lips service is paid, or one that requires constant is paid.   The Ritual: How mortals interact with the god. The prayers, sacrifices, and rituals that can pull the god into motion.   The Sins: The sins of a god are the actions and concepts that are anathema for that god. They can be specific rituals, symbols, animals or plants. all gods have them in myriad forms. To perform or present these tasks or concepts around a god will weaken that god.
The Sins of the crafted gods are a bit more important than for the autochthonic gods, as Sins can destroy a crafted god if performed in large enough volume and regularity. For the autochthonic, it's more of a warding option than anything else. Those Sins do, often, prevent their related gods from viewing certain areas or acting directly within that area.
