The Goldlight Spear
The goddess grinned at the woman, who looked just as shocked as anyone at the bloody spear held limply in her hand.
"I thought you might be one to do something interesting with that thing..." Despite the woman's protests that she wasn't a soldier, half hearted as they were, Daulla refused to take the spear back. She just mounted the colossal serpent Tungaðr, whose head rose high above the crowd. "You need not be a soldier to hold a spear. If you never use it again, congratulation, but if you find a cause you're going to need it."
A spear forged by the goddess Daulla from the pure light of the sun, and the divinely potent scales of serpentine mount, Tungaðr; alongside a single drop of its argent venom.
The weapon was intended to be given to her own champions, but as Daulla eschews the grander trappings of her divinity, it is often just gifted to individuals that she happens to find interesting for various and inscrutable reasons.
As a divine artifact, it increases the skill of the wielder, as well as providing a few divine blessings. Protection against curses, some ability to regenerate, as well as an aura that can turn particularly weak creations, familiars, and children of other gods.
