To say we understand the gods is an understatement. We build the frame, we raise them up, and then we set them loose in the world. Trust me, that requires a certain steel in ones spine and deftness of mind that we cultivate from a young age. Please, do not insult us with the insinuation that the other tawdry 'godyards' can produce a product even comparable to ours.
One of the most influential families on the face of Canvas, the R'lyeh are also the most mysterious. Everyone knows the as the founders of many Godyards across the Throne, but that is the extent of everyone's knowledge. The number of family members, their positions, ages, even the sounds of their voices are an unknown due to the veils and hoods the family has never been seen without, which seemingly disrupt both sight and hearing for outside observers.
The reason for their secrecy is unknown, and a constant point of speculation.
