Niphine the Candle Reader
Ah, there you are lass... I know having a body now is a touch disorienting, but it'll subside in a moment as you acclimate.
You know why you're here, yeah?
You can feel it already, a desire to learn, to codify, and to teach, can't you?
That's good, that means the Tenets have taken hold.
Let's get you an encyclopedia, that'll help you feel better.
-The first words I ever heard, from my Godmaker
Gods are bound to their nature, and I am no exception.
I have simply been constructed for the task of gathering and codifying mortal knowledge in a way that could be accessed by those that could benefit from it.
A Goddess of knowledge and teaching, I believe, were the domains that were focused on for my birthing.
The task is, of course, a titanic one as well as one that is never truly finished. I am thankful for that, as a god denied it's nature is... well, it does not bear thinking about.
As I complete entries for my eventual Encycopaedia, I will send them back to my editor; a mortal man by the name of Leo Bass. There, dear Leo, I know you prefer to stay in your office but I cannot deny you due recognition. Perhaps I can give you an immotality of your own?
To ask the question is in my nature.
