Kheravazan Empire
The Kheravazan Empire, more often referred to as simply the Empire, is the dominant political and military force on the continent of Irulia. It is ruled by the Ravaz Imperium, more simply called the Crown or the Imperium. The Empire operates under a monarchal rule, headed by the Ravaz family, who has ruled since Kheravaz's inception. The Empire is one of the oldest nations still extant in the Known World, having been formed in 1103 after the collapse of the old Khyrric Kingdom.
Today, the Kheravazan Empire has expanded from a kingdom to an empire by conquest. In most cases, this expansion has been violent and forceful, but in others, they have annexed nations peacefully. Their seat of power is Ravazmir, the capital city of the old Ravazmir province and a place that serves as a stalwart bastion of the Empire's light. Their populace is content in their place inside the Empire's embrace, largely due to the pioneering arcanists of the Eyrien, whose progressing wizardry allows for improvements on life other nations cannot boast.
