Everett's Shadow
King Xavier was reported to have seen a completely black and thin figure outside of his door the night Everett was poisoned and died shortly after. The figure seemed to have taken the form of Everett, just completely black and fairly taller by about a foot and a half. It stalked the halls and only Xavier was able to see it for some reason. The figure acted as a shadow, appearing on the walls without a body to come from. The figure would collide with other shadows and affect the person’s actions by manipulating the shadow, which forced the owner to match said actions. However, this effect didn’t affect Xavier, only other people for some reason.
Upon further interrogating, Xavier said that he calls the strange shadow Everett since the shadow reminds him of the late servant. The shadow can’t talk, however, but can do everything a normal human can do such as write, read, cook, dance, and other things. The shadow can also hear things as well as a human can, maybe even having a sharper hearing than the average human, which is why Xavier finds himself talking to the shadow in his spare time.
