It is found mainly on the easter continent as the most resent sliverfall was there. But over history there have been many times of silverfall.

At first it was used as pieces of jewelry then it was used as spell focus amulets but now it is more often seen as just pretty metal to be used a decorations.

It was first discovered by an elven metal smith who was looking for silver in the Spine mountains. It was believed for the longest time to be silver that had been caught in a mage storm and changed by the magic.

Due to its rarity it is only used by the wealthy and some few mage's as jewelry and amulets.

It can be used in its found state but most will smelt it as there is often a few small particles found within it from when it impacts the world.

It is never just tossed out, it is always remelted down or handed down to family members.

It is very rare for this to hit the public market in its raw form, most people know it by the storys of the blue sheen of metal on silver. they will take it to the metal smiths guild to be sold off, the guild has a set price on starsilver in its raw form. The only way it ever seems to hit the open market is when it has been turned into a piece of jewelry, and only in high end shops.
