After receiving approval to locate the lost Drow settlement, the Heroes of Old embarked on their first significant quest, heading north into the Greystorm Mountains. Before reaching their destination, they had to deal with a supernatural threat, the Greystorm Bear. With Jess's tools, Parnaxis's survival instincts, and Surrus's unwavering optimism, they eventually found the Drow city known as Skyhold atop the mountains. Inside Skyhold, Er-Zul, Jess, and Pyotyr combined their intellect, cunning, and psychic abilities to explore a vast library that held detailed maps of the continent. As they delved deeper, they stumbled upon an anomaly in the Astral Plane that intersected with the stronghold. This raised suspicions, and they soon encountered an empowered symbol of the Dark One, unleashing its dark energy. The group decided to return later to disable this symbol and investigate further. Accompanying them on their journey was a valuable fragment of Lynoa's map, representing a region that remained entirely uncharted and undocumented at that point in time.

Recognizing the danger it posed, the group opted to retreat temporarily, intending to return later to dismantle the ominous symbol and further investigate its significance. Throughout this expedition, the Heroes of Old carried with them a significant piece of Lynoa's map—an invaluable artifact representing an unexplored and entirely undocumented region, giving the group access not only to traveled pathways, but also knowledge of the cavern system within Lynoa.
