Functions of Time within the Mulitverse

As a part of the Scientific Branch of Fundamental Forces, there's a fascinating exploration into a web of unfolding possibilities. These possibilities emerge from the interplay of fundamental forces, driven by the need for growth, change, and entropy. This dynamic process gives rise to a powerful scientific force—time, intricately connected to the evolution of the vast universes.   The study of time is termed Chronology, and some magical practices are grounded in its principles. Despite extensive categorization, extracting and cataloging information about the interactions of time across various planes—material, astral, and more—is challenging due to its nearly infinite scale. Divinists, the initial catalogers, employ glimpses into the future to retrieve pre-gathered information. However, significant revelations are often obscured by other phenomena within the vast field of chronology, keeping the demand for insights in this domain consistently high.   Though much is still to be discerned from the constraints of time, some things have been written from the perspective of Dionisian scholars:    

1. Temporal Energy represents a unique form of scientific energy encapsulated within items, environments, or individuals directly immersed in the embrace of temporal forces. Typically encountered within the expansive domain of Chronology studies, time magics, and extended voyages through the Astral Seas, Temporal Energy accrues as a consequence of such exposures. Although the precise outcomes of prolonged encounters remain incompletely documented, one discernible effect has surfaced, aptly termed "decalibration".
2. The Decalibration Phenomenon is a state where individuals become dislodged from their native timelines. The manifestation varies—some retain corporeal unity, while others undergo fragmentation across myriad multiversal iterations. To achieve recalibration, an ironic requisite emerges in time itself. Despite its prevalence being largely uncharted, there exists a hypothesis suggesting mastery and manipulation of this condition, granting individuals unprecedented control over their personal timestream.
3. Breaking the seamless parallel flow of the Temporal Cascade is the emergence of Convergent timelines, sculpted through intentional interference from entities outside or within the timelines. The pivotal catalyst for such extraordinary occurrences is identified as "Divergent Events," necessitating a source of immense power—a portal or a tear in space-time.
The manipulator seizes upon this cosmic fracture, harnessing the temporal energy radiating from the breach. Utilizing this power, they navigate their timeline or the converging timeline to a specific point in history where both timestreams align and ultimately merge. In this convergence, the two predecessors blend, retaining distinctive elements from each unique aspect of their respective timestreams. The result is a singular, amalgamated version, intricately woven from the fabric of its dual origins. While it is possible to separate the two after the event, it would require the same amount of incomprehensible energy to close, so losing the method of the tear's creation can doom the timestreams.
